Hey y’all happy Tuesday here.I’m going to be super random and talk about beer today. How many bloggers do you know that talk about there favorite places to have a drink..ha ha. Well here I am My one year anniversary of living here is creeping up so I definitely thought this post would be suitable for today. The most popular places to be in Asheville on the weekends are the 500 breweries here. I’m going to narrow that down to just four of my favorite breweries for this post because I’d say I have a pretty clear understanding where all the hot spots are.
If you are like me and love to sit outside in the sun and enjoy the views and the warm weather all while drinking a nice crisp brew I would consider Sierra Nevada Brewery for you. This spot has so many awesome vibes and is a family owned spot. The food is tremendous and the outside has an array of fireplaces, chairs, and tons of outside sports set up. There is also a huge amphitheater where they will hold concerts in the summer time.
For a more personal vibe I would bring you to Twin Leaf Brewery This is a lot smaller atmosphere but you can’t miss the incredible beer flights and variety of board games, giant sized jenga, and ping pong. This is a place to go before you go out on the town possibly because it is in walking distance of downtown.
Thirsty Monk. This could possibly be a chain because I have seen it elsewhere but the Thirsty Monk in Asheville is local to here. They brew there own beer at their local coffee shop nearby and to me personally it’s the best beer.
Now lets go to the River Arts District.. New Belgium Brewery. This brewery sits right on the river and parking is not a problem. Excellent spot to take a photo or two and enjoy the beautiful view. Sometimes they have different food trucks outside you can try and they host events all the time.
Last but not least..Wicked Weed Brewing Pub. This one is by far a fan favorite with the tourists. The atmosphere is super cool. You can have lunch outside in the middle of downtown and then head downstairs to there open bar and enjoy some brew skis in the sun.
Talking about all of these brewers have me so excited for Summer. If you follow my blog and head to Asheville this summer you are more than likely going to spot me at one of these four places I named during the weekend. What can I say….God is great and Beer is good! (:
